Xmas was a snowy one!

Hi family..
I documented the most snowfall in 40 years. Thanks chad/courtney/chloe and mom/bill for making this xmas so great. I'm happy for all of the snow, it made this xmas extra relaxing and memorable :)

Just got off the plane in Colorado. Clear and dry as you can see.

I had a few hours to spare, so I ate a great chicken fingers meal.

I arrived at Chad & Courtney's snow castle.

I met one of the coolest dogs, Chloe.

Lots of snow.

Pretty trees.

Puppies are alert.

Chloe likes me!

Made it to Seattle. Mom and Codi by the tree.

C h a n g e

Obama = change.
So I decided to change.
I sold my Chevrolet cobalt.
Used some of the $ to buy this rad car.
And put the rest in my savings account.
It fits me like a glove, doesn't it? :)

The Other Duck - Clothing Line

Hola!

A month or so ago, I took part in a photo shoot for my friend's clothing line: The Other Duck. She has a new line coming out - called the monologic line - she designed all of it. Below are a few pictures, I'm sure I'll be seeing the rest soon once she has her release party.

Love you! See you in less than a month! :)

Blythe Spyce Girls -- "Wanna Be"

Ok.. so.. my roommates and I (plus a few others) filmed this on the day after Halloween. It was a rainy 'seattle like' day and what better than to make a video! We call ourselves the Blythe Spice Girls. If you are familiar with the original Spice Girls, they each have a character. We each represent one of them (me being 'baby spice') and added a few other characters as well. Our friend directed it and my roommate edited it. Hope you enjoy! :) We are weird, I know! Haha.

Halloween at RAND

Here are some pictures from our Halloween party at work. I wore my basketball outfit from my dance group Breed. The black and orange was perfect and I loved wearing my sneakers :)

Some of those who dressed up.

Group picture of those who dressed up and played Halloween bingo during lunch. The lady sitting down to my left with the lei and white socks is one of my carpoolers.

Playing bingo. Trying hard but didn't win. I ate a ton of candy though. The lady to my left is one of my carpoolers.

The lady to my right is another one of my carpoolers.

Aerial shot. There were a lot of us playing bingo! The odds weren't the best!

It was fun! XOXO.

Anika Turned 25!

Hi All! Wow, it's been a while since my last post... I'm very sorry... I've been very busy! The summer is now winding down (even though it's still in the 90's here) but I've seen a few leaves and a few clouds rolling in. I am definitely looking foward to the holidays, especially Xmas! I'll be there at the family party! Can't wait. I can't believe next month marks a year for me in LA, it seems like it was just a few months ago!

Below are a few pics from a Surprise Party that we held at our house for our roommate, Anika. Just turned 25. She is one of those people you can never usually surprise but since she's out of her element here in LA, we did it! It was so much fun.. we had games, prizes, a dress code, lots of food, decorations, etc. We made her cry, mission accomplished! :)

The organizers of the party - Cobey, Amy Lee, and Me.

Some of our friends hanging around before Anika's arrival.

Amy and I.

The gang before Anika came! As you can see, our dress code was black and white. We were ready with toilet paper, balloons, and all!

Anika arrived and is in the middle with the v neck white t shirt! That's what good friends are for!

Love you all! XOXO, Amy

Day 1: relaxed on Manhattan Beach, ate lunch, watched Mama Mia!
Day 2: woke up at 4am, drove to San Pedro to catch the boat to Catalina Island, spent the whole there: laying out, swimming, snorkeling, shopping, etc.
Day 3: went to the Grove (outdoor shopping center), ate breakfast, went shopping at a Farmers Market, walked around Melrose, and ate an Italian dinner (waitresses are all aspiring singers, they sing in between serving).
Day 4: went to Universal Studios! Rode the Simpsons ride, the Mummy, Jurassic Park, Backdraft, watched Fear Factor live, etc.

!*** 4th of July ***!

4th of July weekend was great. A bunch of us headed down south to Aliso Viejo - the founder of one of our dance groups (in Seattle) was holding a get together... there were about 30 of us. We spent the day at the pool, had a bbq, and headed to Laguna Beach for the fireworks.

Aliso Viejo is about an hour from Hollywood... lots of hills and very peaceful.

Amy and I. She made deviled eggs and I made rice krispy treats.

At the pool during the day with some of the group. I've grown :)

Some of us hanging out, eating lots of food! Everyone but one is from Seattle.

Getting ready to head to Laguna Beach.

Laguna Beach!

Very busy place... Cars and people everywhere. Nothing like downtown Seattle though; at least it was a small concentrated spot rather than an entire city.

Pretty sunset!

Beautiful! Past the beach is where the fireworks took off from.

Hanging out in the sand waiting for the fireworks. I took the pic of some of the group.

Taking firework pictures is tricky! Big red one!

Glowing ball of fire!

Pretty one. The firework in the distance is from Newport Beach's show. They have them all along the coast at major beaches.

After the show... People everywhere!!

Xoxo - i hope you all had a fun one too!
